I'd like to start this off by saying, "All hail Saint Dolly"! From my neck of the woods, we are raised to worship Jesus, our Mamaw's, & Dolly (in no particular order). So I felt almost responsible to share some Dolly wisdom via slime design. This design highlights Dolly's movie from the 80's, 9 to 5. She agreed to act in the movie IF she could write the theme song. Needless to say, she was AMAZING at both. Let me just tell you how amazing she is... she wrote this song on set using her fingernails as the musical instruments because she thought they sounded like a typewriter when she rubbed them together. The song was released right before the movie and it went straight to # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song and movie boasts a more meaningful legacy for working women. They were consulted and worked with the women's activist organization named 9 to 5 (later known as the National Association of Working Women). This group was empowered and fed up! They were fighting for fair pay and equal treatment. They started 9 to 5 and inspired the hit movie and song. The song lyric "Pour myself a cup of ambition" speaks to the pride and empowerment we feel as women. It's like a rally call. This song became an anthem for working women, uniting them under one battle cry for fair working conditions. Let's not forget that we are STILL fighting this same fight almost 50 years after the first call to action. I had fun thinking how to translate this slime. I decided that it should be literal. I know when I have a busy day ahead of me, I start with a big cup of strong coffee with salted caramel creamer. This slime is a chubby that's so smooth and creamy. Stretchy for days offering tons of bubble pops. Comes with a tiny (empty) coffee cup. The scent smells JUST like an espresso or strong cup of fresh brewed coffee. I love it.
